shocking !!
Tip number one. If you’re going to partay, make sure your entourage does not include nosy paps tagging along.
But as they say, the most important parties to R.S.V.P. in are the ones you have to crash in, to get in.
Even until now we are still wondering what the hell did Jin do in LA for half a year.
JIN SIGHTINGS. He went up the O.C. Hills to contemplate, meditate on his evil ways.
LIVIN' LA VIDA LOCA. He had an epiphany that chicks, booze and partying are bad, bad things to do.
....
He came back unscathed, as a new man.
PARTY RELAPSE. With Shirota Yuu, Kusano Hironori and some white girl. His new philosophy? All work and no play makes Jin one h*rny little boy..
TEGOSHI with a model (JE boys like 'em models, huh?)
Some critics fussed over Tesshi’s partying ‘til the wee hours of the morning. Geez. It would’ve been MORE questionable if he said he stayed at home on a Friday night claiming to have cleaned his room, tended the garden and cooked for his mummy. Puhleeze. Let the boy get some action.
15 - SOME LIKE IT HOT. While some stars hide all their secrets, some just bare it all out. Literally. Here are the mag covers that got the media talking.
Here’s the skinny on Matsujun’s semi-naked debut in An-An. Question. Why do they ALWAYS have to use foreign models in these shoots? What, like it would seem TOO believable if it weren’t??
14 - It’s THE RING.
It’s amazing how watchful eyes can get TOO sharp when it comes to looking for pieces of evidence.
Resident tabloid boy Jin and Uehara Takako
So-called Jin and Uehara promise rings. Whut. Like rings can’t be used as mere accessories anymore??
Shun Oguri's ex fling Yaguchi Mari. Who friggin' cares.
Aya Ueto and Morita Go’s ring pairs. How the hell do stalkerazzis come up with these things anyway??
...
ZOOM IN.
Pi and Abiru necklace. Coincidence? Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps.
13- Zig a cig- ahhh
Fee, fie, fo, fum… I smell the fug of tobacco in the room…
TANAKA KOKI
Gangsta emo rocker with shaved eyebrows and manicure job gone wrong. Poser.
Koyama Keiichiro. SMOKIN' HOT. Mark my words. If you're inhaling the death stick, don't leave your cig butts behind. Paps might be nearby, sniffing around.
...
NISHIKIDO RYO. Deranged, dumbass fangirl: “Like, eww! Ryo’s like, smoking and like, ew. I HATE HIM!!” Me: *picks up a handful of salt and throw it on her face, watch her disintegrate.*
I mean, guys who smoke DON’T make them a “bad” person. They do, however, have a bad habit.
BUSTED! GOTO MAKI.
Caught smoking. In a PACHINKO PARLOR. Double offense. Atta girl!
12- Purikura/ self cams ATTACK!! These things may be cute, but they can be dangerous weapons of mass destruction – for shattering fangirl delusions
Let’s call them X and Y. X dates Y. Y dumps X.
X dates the whole alphabet.
HSJ's TAKAKI YUYA and former NEWS member MORIUCHI - always knew that guy was different.
NINO KAZUNARI, GOTO MAKI AND OTHER "ESCAPADES."
Oh naive little N., if you say you’re going to granma’s house, make sure you don’t leave a trail behind.
AIBA MASAKI'S UHHH...
NOW THIS IS A SCANDAL. I have a conspiracy theory that estranged ex-girlfriends connive with the media to expose their idol dumpers for revenge. Either that, or they just committed a stupid, stupid mistake ala Edison Chen.
...
NISHIKIDO RYO AND RANDOM ANONYMOUS GIRL. Looking hot and heavy?
As the song goes (in taunting tone): “Got a secret, can you keep it… better lock it in your pocket take this one to the grave…” Well, the secret’s out of the bed, I mean, bag.
The MORNING AFTER. HIDEAKI TAKIZAWA.
Beware the wrath of the ex-girlfriend!! Ugh. They look like 5th graders "experimenting" and "doing a school project overnight." Or so they say to their parents!
11 - BITCH FIGHTS
Battle of words. Ai Otsuka TO Kumi: You slutty whore!
Koda Kumi's backlash: You talentless bitch!
10 - MEAN GIRLS. Masami Nagasawa and Erikasama. Don’t you just love catfights? Rawr.
MASAMI'S NO ANGEL AFTER ALL. Words spread about her bitching to her manager in front of her senpais because the air conditioning was too cold (oh, how diva dahling!), partying the night away and throwing Erika dagger looks at an event.
Erika Sawajiri formed her own circle of cohorts Ueno Juri, Horikita Maki, Kashii Yu, Nakagawa Shoko
against Masami’s dark minions Ishihara Satomi, Ayase Haruka, Toda Erika, Miyazaki Aoi, and Motokariya Yuika. Pfffft. Really now.
AKAME RIVALRY
Akame is dead. Was it ever alive in the beginning?? Deal with it.
...
9 - Most anticipated comebacks
Psycho bitch KAGO AI.
Again, who friggin' cares.
GOTO MAKI
Ways to revive a fading, cobwebbed career. Go on an exile on the pretext of studying English. Stage a huge comeback. Heard she asked Beyonce to be her "sensei." *snort* Yes, Maki, we know you're on Hollywood. But not exactly "in" it.
KUSANO HIRONORI IN NY
A very unflattering photo of Kusano with a girl. Betcha she's a half-breed model.
No. He's not rejoining NEWS.. He must hate Uchi's guts for beating him to a comeback. Swallow the bitter pill of truth.
9 - The most awaited comeback is...
Erikasama Sawajiri. Queen Bee dethroned. Rejoice peasants! Rejoice!
She'll be back. WITH A VENGEANCE.
...
8 - ON SCREEN CHEMISTRY TO REAL-LIFE CHEMISTRY??
Ryo and Aya Ueto. Nah. YOU WISH.
DV Ryo and Nagasawa Masami SPOTTED. Together?
Well, well, well. Either this is just a publicity stunt or Masami badly needs a beating.
Shige and Aya Ueto.
But only in Shige's dreams.
Late night rendezvous?
AIBU SAKI should put up her own website because she got so many "links.." To JE boys, that is - before landing in Nagase's arms. (Sorry, lame ass joke!)
7 - Confirmed. Shun Oguri and Yamada Yu.
Hope it wasn't just a publicity stunt.
NINO AND MASAMI. Are they or are they not? Or... "were" they?
We’re friends! ! Really. We. Are.
SHIROTA YUU AND KEIKO KITAGAWA. Doubt it. But they looked real cozy though.
...
6 - MOST PERFECT COUPLE
Word spread out that good boy SATOSHI TSUMABUKI took SHIBASAKI KOU to his hometown to meet his mummy. Say it with me now, AWWWW!
...
5 - MOST UNEXPECTED "COUPLES"
Matsujun being rumored with models Eikura Nana, Kitagawa Keiko and Suzuki Emi (the ditzy rich girl in Yukan Club who wore spoonfuls of makeup).. *Yawn.* Kinda disturbing though, Eikura and Jun co-starred in a movie about a brother-sister incestuous love story.
Why is this in the "unexpected hook-ups" category? Well, at least now we know that Matsujun isn't as queer as he looks like. The guy is just TOO pretty.
Some semi-reliable sources blurted out that TEPPEI KOIKE AND AYASE HARUKA dated for a while. Seriously? And we all thought Teppei's hubby was Wentz Eiji.
Erika Sawajiri and Matsuda Shota
(or so the paps claim)
Queen Bee finds her king? Aww, and they're sharing an umbrella on a rainy night. *sings Tegomassu's sappy Ai Ai Gasa*
5 - SPOTTED. Ohkura and Hiroko from Mihimaru GT together in a coffee shop.. Sharing thoughts on the dangers of caffeine, perhaps? Perhaps not. But unless they’re feeding off each other’s hands and there’s serious groping going on under the table - NOT INTERESTED.
Ohkura, on the other hand is reputed to be a playboy, jumping from one model’s bed to another. Another Jin in the making? Who knew that our little green ranger is green minded after all?? Well, he's a young man with raging hormones, so sue him.
4 - “Come out,” “come out,” wherever you are… Ryo and this… creepy...old hag.
This suspicious photo has been circulating a whole lot in gossip blogs. But it’s not certain if the guy in question really IS Ryo. Then there’s this explanation that it’s just a joke made by Ryo and a staff member. NO ONE IS LAUGHING.
3 - COUPLE YOU ARE ROOTING FOR: NAKAI MASAHIRO AND KODA KUMI
Deny it all they want, but a picture says a thousand words. Power couple looking smashing, Koda Kumi trimmed down her sleazy come-hither look sans heavy cake makeup, while Nakai trimmed down the mop he calls hair. Are we gonna hear wedding bells soon? Que sera, sera, whatever will be, will be.
2 - BREAK UP OF THE CENTURY: KOIZUMI KYOKO AND KAME
So he dated a woman old enough to be his mother. Who cares. Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore already did it years ago. She's now rumored with Nino. Ah, the desire for motherly love? Ugh.
***
1 -AND THE MOST SCANDALICIOUS GOSSIP THAT HAD PEOPLE TUNED IN:
THE YOU-ME-AGAINST-THE-WORLD SAGA
OF PI AND ABIRU YUU
Bad ass, self-confessed former shoplifter and now gravure idol Abiru meets pure and innocent Pi (or so we would like to believe). Fangirls were seething with anger and possibly foaming in the mouth. The Jimusho was pissed and devised manipulative ways to tear them apart.
They braved the cruel world, as long as they were together, nothing can stop them. All they needed was L-O-V-E. Or some stupid cliche like that.. As long as Pi gives us the goods, doesn't matter who he sleeps with. He is after all, just like any other testosterone-filled man. He's no longer a boy.
And yes, Pi DOES HAVE A LIFE.
(Top half of tabloid pic): Pi with lady Abi possibly after a night of canoodling.
Abiru hanging out not only with Pi, but also with Shirota Yuu and Jin's bro. Lucky bitch.
But not for long....
Pi, Pi, go away, little Abby wants to go out and play. With DA PUMP’S ISSA (rumored to be Shibasaki Kou's ex, small world) .
What does this girl REALLY look like anyway? !! Every one of her photos look so different from each other dammit! Well... When the cat is away, the mice will scoot around and play.
Abiru is actually quite... PRETTY. You go, girl! Oh the blasphemous will burn in hell!! Seriously. Take away mounds of makeup on her face, she can be prettier than some famous idols out there. See for yourself.
Trust me. Looking for decent photos of her is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Skanky gravure everywhere.
ROCKSTARS PREVAIL OVER CANDY POP BOY BANDS. Abi ran off, breaking Pi's poor, wittle heart.
But wait! THERE'S MORE! Before you clink your celebratory wine glasses, Pi is now rumored to be dating a gyaru girl. SAY WHUT.
THE AFTERMATH?
NO. YaMaki will never happen.
EVER.
SO...
news!
Previously she made the pages with her breakdown at the year end Kouhaku concert, where she cried (boohoo) because she forgot the lyrics, which made the stage director take her significant spot onstage and put her in the back (where she belongs). She's now spotted dating a hotshot producer's son. Whatever. Next
Guess she knows now that just having a great ass isn’t enough.
* 19 - Random paparazzi shots.
No one can escape the wily eyes of the paps. They are simply everywhere. But sometimes, all you need is a handy cell phone camera to do the trick.
I spy with my eye. The so-called "AKAME"
Maru and poor, unsuspecting Shige.
So it IS true that our JE boys take the train on their way to work. And we all thought that it was just a ploy to endear and gather more fans - but all it did was to confirm that they are NOT being paid enough by old boy Johnny.
* 18 - Before, After, Whatever.
It’s funny how some people go through all lengths just to nitpick at stars’ small eye folds. Huge boobs, nose jobs, lip collagen – it doesn’t matter. People just want the dish on who’s fake or not. Newsflash: nobody’s born perfect.
AYUMI HAMASAKI. Like you didn’t know that already.
Nino and Tackey.
Mirror, mirror on the wall.
SHIBASAKI KOU.
Who’s the fairest of them all?
Maki Horikita. So she grew up into a pretty little swan.. Who knows?

Terrible news once again. Accidents, injuries and now the worst of all, death. R.I.P =(

by oYce for everyone
Popular actor Shun Oguri (26) is taking on his first directing job. While actors becoming directors is nothing new, this is said to be the first case for a star still in his twenties. The movie's official title is still unknown, but those close to the project are apparently calling it "Surely Someday."
Oguri, who is currently overseas for work, plans to start shooting this summer. Details are sparse, but the film is said to be a story of adolescence that will feature a cast of handsome actors.
Oguri has wanted to try directing for a long time. He was able to get this project rolling with the help of producer Mataichiro Yamamoto, who heads Oguri's management agency Tristone, and his father, stage director Tetsuya Oguri. The actor has already done a little directing, working on the short "manner CM" that played in theaters for "Crows ZERO II."
"Surely Someday" is expected to open in theaters next year.

X Japan, Koda Kumi In Concert

What do J-pop and J-rock have in common? The answer seems to be wedding dresses...Rock band X Japan finally gave their Taiwanese fans what they'd been waiting for on Saturday night, playing their long overdue first concert on the island. The Taipei show was rescheduled twice, last August and again in February due to the health problems of drummer and band leader Yoshiki. He showed his appreciation to the legions of faithful X fans by wearing a wedding dress on stage, something he hasn't done since 1991. The band then launched into their anthem "X," with the 20,000 fans joining them in the X Jump that has been said to cause a mini earth tremor. The ¥350-million show also featured a drum performance from Yoshiki on a moving platform 20m high, and a 12m-high YoshiKitty, an inflatable collaboration with the iconic Hello Kitty character. Once again, the late guitarist Hide appeared throughout the show on the 1200-inch wide screen. Newly added guitarist Sugizo performed overseas with the band for the first time.
Yesterday, Yoshiki announced that the band have received an offer to perform on the opening night of next year's World Expo in Shanghai. The expo will be the biggest ever, with 230 countries and regions expected to participate and the target for the number of visitors set at 70 million (the current record is the 64 million who attended the 1970 Osaka World Expo). Plans are also progressing for a show at the 80,000-seat Olympic "Bird's Nest" stadium in Beijing, which is said to be awaiting the final stamp of approval. Yoshiki also said that he expects shows in France and the U.S. to be finalized this month.
J-pop diva Koda Kumi (26) pulled out all the stops for 15,000 fans at her concert last night at the National Yoyogi Gymnasium in Tokyo. She went through nine costume changes that had a combined cost of ¥80 million. As well as her usual sexy outfits, she wore a white wedding dress and a towering "illumination dress." In homage to enka singer Kobayashi Sachiko, who wears a hugely extravagant dress every New Year's Eve for the "Kohaku Uta Gassen" show, it was 12 meters high and featured 10,000 lights. Amongst the 24-song set, Koda performed songs from her upcoming maxi single "3 Splash," due for release on July 8. She was joined on stage for one night only by U.S. hip hop group the Black Eyed Peas. Koda and vocalist Fergie collaborated last summer on the single "That Aint Cool."
• It was announced yesterday that SMAP's Katori Shingo (32) is to take on an iconic manga role. He has been named to play the lead in the first ever TV drama adaptation of the manga "Kochira Katsushikaku Kamearikoenmae Hasshutsujo," commonly known as KochiKame. The manga has sold over 130 million copies since it first appeared in the Shuukan Shonen Jump magazine in 1976. Set in a downtown police station, it revolves around the bumbling adventures of chief patrol officer Ryotsu Kankichi, a man strong enough to survive falls from Tokyo Tower and a speeding shinkansen (bullet train)! The drama will air on TBS on Saturday nights from August, taking over the same time slot currently occupied by fellow SMAP member Kimura Takuya in "Mr. Brain."
Showbiz Reacts to Spread of Swine Flu
Show business organizers have started taking measures to deal with the surge in swine flu cases in Japan over the last couple of days. With the flu seemingly arriving in Japan with school kids who've been studying in North America, schools have been closed in the Kansai area where the cases have been concentrated. J-pop concerts and other events where teenagers would gather in large numbers are also an obvious risk. One of the biggest record labels, Avex Group Holdings, said they would ask concertgoers to disinfect their hands at venues this week. They will also provide iodine mouthwash in toilets and provide face masks for anyone seen to be coughing or sneezing. Avex have upcoming concerts by several major artists: Hamasaki Ayumi (May 20/21) and Otsuka Ai (May 23/24) at Osaka Castle Hall, and Koda Kumi at the Kobe World Kinen Hall (May 23/24). The Kobe venue is also scheduled to host Dreams Come True and Mr. Children this month. Another high profile organization, Johnny's Jimusho, announced that they would be postponing concerts in the Kansai region. The group Kansai Johnnys Jr. were scheduled to play four shows over two days at the Umeda Geijitsu Gekijo theater in Osaka on May 23-24, but the shows have been indefinitely postponed. Johnny's say they will notify the 7,600 ticket holders when new dates are decided. Actress Fujiwara Norika was scheduled to attend a Red Cross event at her old high school in Kobe tomorrow, but it has been canceled.
London Hearts is Parental Enemy No.1 Yet Again
London Hearts is Parental Enemy No.1 Yet Again | May 13, 2009 |
"London Hearts" has done it for the sixth year in a row. The TV Asahi variety show has been chosen yet again by parents nationwide as the TV program they are most unlikely to let their children watch. The show they are most keen to have their kids watch is NTV's education-themed variety show "Sekai-ichi Uketai Jugyo." The results of the survey are published annually by the Japan National PTA Association. Respondents are allowed to choose two TV shows for each category. 11% chose London Hearts, while 9% chose another perennial nemesis, the anime "Crayon Shinchan." The third-worst show was deemed to be Fuji TV's comedy "Shimura Ken no Bakatono-sama," selected by 5% of parents. Common reasons given included "the content is ridiculous" and "the language is crude." Among the shows getting parental approval, "Sekai-ichi..." was chosen by 8%, followed by TBS's animal-themed "Dobutsu Kisotengai" with 5%. Naturally enough the most common reason given was that they help children with their academic studies. The standard format for London Hearts is a panel of female celebrities creating and commenting on rankings of each other's less admirable qualities, such as who would make the worst girlfriend or who is likely to be unfaithful. The show is hosted by popular comedy duo London Boots No.1 No.2 (profile).
Megadeth Guitarist Goes Pop
Megadeth Guitarist Goes Pop! | May 20, 2009 |
Former Megadeth "charisma guitarist" Marty Friedman (46) has been unashamedly gushing about his love of the J-pop scene for a few years now. And today he's cashing in on the mismatch of heavy metal axeman and sugar sweet pop music with the release of "Tokyo Jukebox," an instrumental album of J-pop covers. Friedman performed a few guitar licks for reporters at the Tokyo Tower observation deck yesterday, including his take on Mr. Children's "Gift" and a little enka in the form of Ishikawa Sayuri's "Amagigoe." Friedman performed as a member of Megadeth during their most successful decade from 1990-2000. After moving to Japan, he joined X Japan guitarist Pata and Luna Sea drummer Shinya as a backing musician to rock singer Aikawa Nanase in 2005. A more unlikely pairing was with J-pop star Suzuki Ami on NHK's "Kohaku Uta Gassen" that New Year's Eve. He also performed last year on a mini-album of covers by African American enka singer Jero. In March, he performed Bach's Brandenburg Concerto with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra. A famous Friedman anecdote is that he auditioned for legendary rockers Kiss, but was turned down because he was under six feet tall.
Tokyo Jukebox tracklist
- Tsume Tsume Tsume (Maximum the Hormone)
- Gift (Mr. Children)
- Amagigoe (Sayuri Ishikawa)
